Emilio Bartolome Martin (b. 1997) is a South London based figurative painter. The truth, or reality of a person, and a shared experience of the human condition is central to his work. His paintings are, in this sense, auto-biographical, exploring his mutual relationship with the sitter, as well as the contrasting relationship between painter and subject.
